$650,000 Motorcycle Accident Settlement – Chandler, Arizona
Harris Injury Law represented a motorcyclist who was struck by a passenger vehicle in Chandler, Arizona, after a young driver failed to yield at a roundabout. The client suffered hand and rib fractures that required hospitalization. Jason Harris met with the client at Chandler Regional Medical Center shortly after the collision and the firm began investigating the available insurance coverage and the circumstances of the crash.
The at-fault driver's liability coverage was limited, so we conducted a thorough investigation of the defendant and available insurance and then pursued underinsured motorist (UIM) claims under two separate USAA policies. The matter was resolved without filing a lawsuit.
We also worked to ensure that the client's medical providers were properly paid through Medicare and addressed the Medicare Secondary Payer recovery / subrogation interest as part of the settlement process. All available insurance claims resulted in a total recovery of $650,000.
